Re: Windows

Thanks Richard
Sorry for the slow response, I have had tough things to deal with at work, like so many others.

Re: Windows

Now we are in the correct place, i have a poser.

Is it possible to remove a pop up menu once it has been created? So that it can be removed from the display window.

Re: D3D problem

Thanks Richard, I have now had chance to study the code and have realised (using a bit of d3d research) that if you settexture this is the used by all buffers regardless, so the settexture needs to be set to zero if you want to raster a non-textured primative after the statement is used. A simple in...

Re: D3D problem

Once again, thank you.
I will not have chance to look at it until Monday because of work. But hopefully this will help me produce a viable 3d application.
Kind regards Ric

Re: D3D problem

Thankyou Richard,
Could you supply the code for that please, because i do not know how using the library to create the 3 buffers with different attributes. That would probably change my approach to how i go about d3d.

Re: D3D problem

The code does not do anything that the D3D9LIB doesnt do yet, that is why i can not understand why is doesnt work. All i have done is produce 3 buffers with different qualities, I assume that if i ran these through the D3D9LIB it would work, but i want to fine tune the process a bit further down the...

Re: D3D problem

I have now successfully got d3d9 up and running NEARLY! As DDRM pointed out order does matter and so to this end i have created a veretex_buffer with opaque colour objects, a vertex_buffer with transparent colour objects and one with opaque textured objects. When i run the code the scene does not qu...

Re: D3D problem

Thank Richard,
I have heard Michael's name banded about before regarding D3D. I will put out a plea.
