Re: Number of active BBC BASIC users

Incidentally, nobody has asked me to resume posting announcements here I do like it when I see announcements. I do look for them more often, as it tells me that you haven't left or quit. I do wish for it to continue. I am a follower and a fan. I am responding on this thread. It shows I care and I b...

Re: Number of active BBC BASIC users

they should at least have been aware of the poll. Even if a few people chose not to vote I have over 110 members on my Cross platform Facebook group and they would get personal notifications every time a post with link is made. A small fraction take the time to even check what it is. There is nothi...

Re: Number of active BBC BASIC users

I should be able to make the assumption that every active member of this forum voted - why wouldn't they? The total number of votes was six! I didn't realize there was a vote. ( I must have been distracted.) With all the distractions currently in media, I am absolutely certain that people w...

Re: Number of active BBC BASIC users

There are over 100 users. Its easy to assume that simply because of the traffic in this forum on certain subjects. Some subjects get viewed so many times that, I could even guess there may be 1000 users. They could be just very selective of what they view, and I could point out many posts that could...

Quality arrows using PROCLR(x,y,w) and PROCUD(x,y,w) tools

The arrows are able to be customizable as buttons and this was created on BBCSDL (the draws are easy to modify without POINT or FILL) The arrows were created with 2 new tools that allow compact code, easy quality object design, and in program image code. * no need to share a image link* (forum frien...

Re: Rotating a BMP image

there are many examples that can be adapted, such as aliens.bbc I understand enough about the alien example to use it and tested it with my own PNG image. BUT **** How did you make the transparent background work on the image? **** Did you use Paint 3D to make a transparent canvas from the picture ...

I did take a look at the Aliens example in BBCSDL and it was awesome. I will work with that tool.

Re: Rotating a BMP image

I made a short video demo of the rotating BMP image in BBC4W and did test it in BBCSDL. ( both worked ) * The test on BBCSDL I will send a copy of the test to Richard, as review of results will likely be desired. This test on BBC4W was really cool and here is the link to the video: https://youtu.be/...

Re: Rotating a BMP image

I guess as per conversation in email (me , Richard and Kendall Down ): I guess the code solution Richard supplied I can use and improve and add into my programs, as the code was posted in full as a solution in public. Thats great!! I will of course make a link to this subject thread so that others c...
