I made a major improvement to the mask tool I created long ago. I realized that it was not producing a proper image for sprites.. (some character info was not being shown due to the pixel size.) That red balloon in the video took about 4 hours to model and texture in Blender!
I have seen many Blender videos. I have tried Blender in the past and it is quite the tool. I also tried and bought Hexagon 3D. I am surprised you have become skilled in Blender so quickly.

It has actually gotten new attention on the group I formed on facebook.. And new people join at least 1 per week. I try to promote the platform as much as I can.

oh I see. Maybe I don't know how a radio button should work.. hmmm .. I did some checking.. ok.. a radio button would normally be in a group and only one of the group could be active.. I will see if I can modify it to be either a check box style or a group of radio buttons working as it is normally ...

Pretty cool how this sample works.. You may want to add DDRMs solution to keep the mouse detection more accurate. Also I think I found a solution that should eliminate the need for the WAIT 1 in the mouse solution.. just set up a counter in the loop to force it to exit after so many cycles.. HA HA! ...
