Image display question

This is only part of the program, but it should show enough for the question. I tried to display a .png image in my BBC Basic program, and I have been unsuccessful. Anyone know how to do this? ( being able to display the file will help me with my character extraction) PROCgraphics(1280,1024) *DISPLA...

Re: Stock Market Calculator with projected sells

Take a look at this: Yes. I did also have a smaller sell profit that tried to get near $ 20.oo. I gave the display price a bit of flexibility because its hard to get near exact tiny profit amounts if say, you are dealing with large amounts of money. The projected profits are factored with banking f...

Stock Market Calculator with projected sells

This small side tool I crafted for myself to make it easier to make small trades (Because tight trades are tough with small amounts of money) I offer this program for testing. No holds barred. Be tough on this program.. If you find any problems, feel free to state the flaws. (I used cross reference ...

Re: Volatile Vases for BBCSDL ready to test

There are a lot of unused variables and funcs/procs scattered around (this is the software assessor talking . I guess RETROLIB is intended as a library so maybe some are Ok. (Could RETROLIB be a BBC LIB?) If you want to see more about this I can help. I can see a few places where code could be shor...

PROCcolorbar(x,y,color) The 16 color color bar tool

I decided to make a 16 color bar tool, that can be placed anywhere on a screen that has a
color indicator.

If you want, you can contribute to the Code tools in the forum. The site is dedicated to tools for BBC Basic.

Re: Volatile Vases for BBCSDL ready to test

Here is the game. It requires no other files. Just copy into your clipboard and paste into BBCSDL and play. I believe I have added everything that is needed to play. Now there are buttons to press on touch screen and keys for keyboard and the existing mouse controls. There are plenty of ways to play...

Re: Volatile Vases for BBCSDL ready to test

but it's that "two mouse button" control that worries me. It may be fine with a 'real' mouse but it's awkward and uncomfortable on a trackpad, which is what I use on this laptop. It also means that the game cannot be played using a touchscreen Thanks Richard. I will work on those issues and one oth...
