Conforums countdown clock

Post by guest » Sun 15 Apr 2018, 15:08

Conforums currently has a "time until Conforums goes offline" countdown (it'll probably be gone for good by the time you read this) but the JavaScript seems to be counting down to 18:00 local time, which would imply that it's going to go offline at different times for different regions. :? I wonder what will actually happen....

Once it got to zero it switched to saying EXPIRED, and now it's gone (but has it gone for everybody?).

It seems to be offline now.
How are you feeling about this?

There are online backups of the BB4W forum, the BBC BASIC forum and the LBB forum, which are available for browsing and searching. I also have backups of the Just BASIC and Liberty BASIC forums (as have they, although it's unclear what they plan to do with them). So nothing is lost - the short notice given by Conforums just caused rather a lot of forum owners to switch into panic mode for a while!
