If you use the Android / Fire TV edition of BBCSDL I would recommend updating to the latest version which can be found at the usual place:

http://www.rtr.myzen.co.uk/BBCBasic.apk

This fixes a bug which caused it to crash if left 'in the background' (i.e. suspended) for more than five hours or so. If you have noticed it dying overnight, this release should fix the problem.
