How would one run BBC4RPi as root ?
Or should it affect anything ?

You could run it (from a command prompt) as:

sudo ./bbcsdl 

But you are unlikely to notice any difference and I wouldn't expect it to be particularly useful.

But you must be in the directory where BBC4RPi is ......
That was my mistake before ..........
